Comcast joins for project with Rebuilding Together Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE, Fla. Homes in a Miami neighborhood are looking a lot better thanks to a local partnership between Comcast and Rebuilding Together Miami-Dade for the 13th Comcast Cares Day on Saturday, Apr. 26.
Local Comcast employees, their friends and families as well as community volunteers worked together on homes in the West Perrine neighborhood. Projects included painting, landscaping and repair work. Many of the homeowners helped are elderly, disabled or veterans living on fixed incomes in need of assistance with home repair and maintenance.
Comcast Cares Day is the company's signature day of service and the nation's largest single-day corporate volunteer effort.
