Home Depot, non-profit help redo South Fla. veteran's home

HOMESTEAD, Fla. - Willy Dempsey is a Veteran living in Homestead and nonprofit organization Rebuilding Together and Home Depot have united to help makeover his home.
Rebuilding Together gives back to the community by helping preserve affordable home ownership. Dempsey says he feels blessed.
Volunteers with and without experience have been coming to the house to help.
Fellow Veteran Tyrone Lee says, "It makes me very pleased to help a veteran, being a veteran myself."
Obstacles and fundraising have prolonged this project but now after a month of construction it will soon be done.
ABOUT REBUILDING TOGETHER Rebuilding Together Miami-Dade chapter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that preserves homeownership and revitalizes neighborhoods by providing free of charge rehabilitation services to the elderly, veterans, disabled and low income homeowners.
