Rebuilding Together Miami is the Recipient of Thirteenth Annual Comcast Cares Day.

MIAMI, April 26, 2014 ‐ Dorothy Jackson, age 75, has lived in her home for 29 years. A swarm of volunteers led by YCF of South Florida painted and make critical repairs to her home on Saturday, April 26, 2014 which was Comcast Cares Day and Rebuilding Together Miami's National Rebuild Day. "This is the first time I have ever been in love with a bathroom" giggled Mrs. Jackson. Not only did Jackson receive a new bathroom, but kitchen renovations, roof repair, interior painting and interior painting.

Elizabeth Wright, age 70, who lives with five children in her home of 18 years received a new roof, a new bathroom and a new kitchen as part of the repairs that Coastal Construction made on her home. Synovia Gibbs, another recipient, said "The first time I came in to see my new kitchen, I really wanted to cry. It made me feel so good!"

More than 500 volunteers from Comcast employees, families and Rebuilding Together Miami turned out to help these deserving homeowners in West Perrine.
