Rebuilding Together Miami-Dade chapter receives proclamation at County Commissioners meeting

Rebuilding Together Miami-Dade chapter was given a proclamation at the County Commissioners meeting on July 23. The proclamation was awarded due to the organization’s outstanding contributions to improving Miami-Dade communities through home revitalization and preservation. Rebuilding Together Miami-Dade chapter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation that preserves homeownership and revitalizes neighborhoods by providing free of charge rehabilitation services to the elderly, veterans, disabled and low income homeowners. In 2008, the foundation revitalized 25 homes and increase $384,000 in market value in the community.
The organization is part of a network of more than 204 affiliates and is the nation’s leading nonprofit working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize communities.
