Rebuilding Together Miami is receiving CDBG funds for the rehabilitation of several homes in City of Miami, District 2. The home located at 3522 William Avenue, Miami, 33133 is in need of hurricane impact windows and doors installation and several other repairs to its exterior.

A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held at 3522 William Avenue, Miami, 33133 on Thursday, June 17th at 10:00am. Failure to arrive at the meeting within the first ten minutes of the meeting will disqualify the potential bidder from participating in the bidding process. The meeting will include a project overview (program, schedule, etc.), requirements, and tour of the site.
Bids must contain all requested information and forms for the one home and must be signed by authorized agent of the offering company to be considered responsive.
All contractors and subcontractors are to be aware that the Community Development Block Grant rehabilitation projects are governed by the regulations set forth in Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 and those businesses that qualify as a Section 3 Business Concern will be given preference. A mandatory pre-bid meeting was held at 3522 William Ave, Miami, 33133 on Thursday, June 17th at 10:00am. The meeting included a project overview (program, schedule, etc.), requirements, and tour of the site.
Two bidders participated in the pre-bid meeting.
To ensure a transparent, fair, and open competition, the questions raised about the scope of work are herby addressed publicly:
Q: Would the homeowner like to replace existing store with an impact door that maintains the existing six panel with glass style?
A: Yes, the homeowner would like to have his current door replaced with a six panel, glass, hurricane impact door if possible.
Q: Does the gutter on the front side of the flat roof need to be replaced?
A: We remind the bidders in this process to address the repairs listed in the scope of work in a way that is comprehensive and inclusive of all the contingencies that one shall encounter while replacing current roof, windows, and doors with new materials and while prepping and painting the exterior of the home.
