NATIONAL REBUILDING DAY
National Rebuilding Day, an annual event held on the last Saturday of April, helps solve the urgent need for safe homes and communities for everyone. Unsafe and/or unhealthy living conditions at home account for many of the leading causes of preventable fatality, illness, and disability in the United States.
Each year we partner with dozens of community partners and hundreds of volunteer to make repairs to 15-20 homes in one neighborhood. This annual effort demonstrates the positive effects of home and neighborhood revitalization on the overall health of homeowners, families, and our communities.
As we slowly re-enter the world of volunteer events following COVID-19, National Rebuilding Day 2022 will be held at a much smaller scale. We are completing exterior repairs on five homes in Florida City with no more than 20 volunteers per site.
If you are interested in sponsoring or registering a group of volunteers, please contact Ashley at ashley@rebuildingtogethermiami.org or 305.200.5711.
