Project Description
NATIONAL REBUILDING DAY
National Rebuilding Day, an annual event held on the last Saturday of April, helps solve the urgent need for safe homes and communities for everyone. Unsafe and/or unhealthy living conditions at home account for many of the leading causes of preventable fatality, illness, and disability in the United States.
Each year we partner with dozens of community partners and hundreds of volunteer to make repairs to 15-20 homes in one neighborhood. This annual effort demonstrates the positive effects of home and neighborhood revitalization on the overall health of homeowners, families, and our communities.
In an abundance of caution, National Rebuilding Day 2020 has been postponed. This was not an easy decision, but the safety of our homeowners, volunteers, and staff is paramount. We hope you are all staying safe and can’t wait to [Re]Build with you, this fall!
If you are interested in sponsoring or registering a group of volunteers, please contact Ashley at ashley@rebuildingtogethermiami.org or 305.200.5711.
