Safe at Home
Safe and Healthy housing is the foundation, framework, and focus of all we do at RTMD. Our Safe at Home Program program addresses hazards affecting the safety, health, and/or accessibility of homes owned by low-income homeowners. Utilizing a checklist addressing 25 health and safety priorities, we assess and create a scope of work unique to each home. All assessments and repairs are free of charge for homeowners. Common home repairs and modifications include roof replacement, plumbing and electrical repairs, drywall replacement, ADA bathroom modifications, and other repairs as deemed necessary.
“I have been battling cancer for a while now. Making repairs around my home felt impossible, both physically and financially. Rebuilding Together gave me hope when I needed it most.”
– TOMAS MARTINEZ • HOMEOWNER
