Tree Trimming/Thinning Project in West Coconut Grove

To kick off the year, we launched a pilot program in Village West Coconut Grove that allows homeowners to receive necessary tree trimming for a very low cost. We selected 25 properties, where a maximum of 3 trees were trimmed/thinned to remove low hanging branches that were threats to the home and powerlines. By partnering with a local arborist, this program was a huge success in preparing homes for hurricane season, and even allowing some homeowners to be re-instated for their homeowner’s insurance policies!
